The CSEM is a privately held, knowledge-based company established in 1984 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It has currently more than 390 employees and is mainly active in the fields of micro/nanotechnology, microelectronics, systems engineering and carries out applied research, development and prototyping. The research activities of the Polymer Optoelectronics Section at CSEM Muttenz include polymer LEDs, polymer photodiodes and solar cells as well as organic field effect transistors. Furthermore, additive print processes like ink-jet and gravure printing are developed in order to enable the fabrication of fully solution processed organic optoelectronics systems.
